Dr. Miriam Cohen is an Assistant Professor at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University. She is the project leader for the “Human Rights Comparative” project, which has been made possible by the Canadian Bar Law for the Future Fund Grant. Dr. Cohen obtained her PhD in law from Leiden University, where she was the recipient of the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies scholarship. She completed her doctoral studies while working full-time as a lawyer
